Biography

Yasaman joined us in February 2015. She was born in Iran and moved to the UK in 2004. She lived in Newcastle for three years before moving to London in 2007.

During her A-level gap year in 2013, Yasaman started working as a dental nurse. Since, she has gained valuable experience working with Private/NHS patients with a variety of age groups and different cultural backgrounds. She truly appreciates how each patient’s treatment is tailored to their specific needs. Adapting one’s approach to the patient’s age is vital and it’s something that she has found to be particularly interesting during her training.

Yasaman’s special interest is cosmetic and orthodontic dentistry as she enjoys the aesthetic improvement of people’s smile and the confidence gained because of it. She enjoys learning new techniques and is currently studying further to peruse a career in dental hygiene and dental therapy to be more involved with patients.

Interests

Yasaman loves travelling in particular road trips.

One of my favourite things about this clinic is Kate Guti, not only is she an excellent hygienist, but she is funny and gentle. I have only good things to say. The staff at Smilepod Holborn are amazing - kind, accommodating, and professional. I looked long and hard before settling on a dentist, and I am glad I did - 5-star, friendly service all around.In particular, Dr. Ana Maria Mackinnon is fabulously skilled and down to earth (with a witty sense of humor).
