“I’m Agni, the studio manager at Bank. Part of my role here is to make sure everything runs smoothly during your treatment with us. We are always smiling here at Smilepod Bank and do everything we can to create a professional but relaxed environment.
I know that a lot of people are nervous about visiting dentists. I understand nerves – but you will feel so much better once you make the first move. You can meet the dentist and me and get familiar with us. There won’t be any treatment on your first visit so it is totally safe and you will feel much better knowing your teeth and gums are being cared for.”
Our Bank Studio is perfect for city workers who struggle to get the time off to see their dentist. Our flexible hours mean you can visit at a time that’s convenient for you.
The Bank team are a group of fantastic dentists, hygienists, and nurses working alongside two registered specialists. In addition, our team also speak Polish, Hungarian, Bulgarian and Turkish. We are from different parts of the world, different countries, different cultures. But we all laugh the same language and we are one big family!

Hi, I’m Anju and I am Smilepod’s Specialist Periodontist. You can find me at any of our Bank, Canary Wharf or Holborn locations.
I was drawn to Periodontology, which is the study of the gums, because of the way it brings together our general health with conditions that affect the gums.
I absolutely love what I do and even after all these years I’m still amazed at the ability of the gums to repair and heal.
I have a particular interest in treating the more advanced cases of gum disease and failing implants. It’s hard to believe that gum disease that may have affected somebody’s life for many years can be treated effectively with just several short appointments.
To be healthy you don’t want inflammation in any part of your body, including your gums. So if you want to live a truly healthy lifestyle, then you must focus on the gums.
“My interests focus on adult orthodontics and attaining the balance between speed, efficiency and stability of treatment and aesthetics during the procedure. “
My name is Raj, I’m your friendly neighbourhood orthodontist! I studied orthodontics at Kings College London and have a Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. My interests focus on adult orthodontics and attaining the balance between speed, efficiency and stability of treatment and aesthetics during the procedure.
I love orthodontics and it is more than a career! It harnesses both the functional aspects of the oral environment and the beauty of the human condition. Patients contemplating orthodontics should take the step to have a consultation. The decision can only be made once all the information has been considered as contemporary options have revolutionised the aesthetics and efficiency of modern orthodontics.
“I see lots of nervous clients and whenever you ask why they are scared. 90% of the time it’s due to a bad experience as a child. It’s a matter of taking the chance on us and we can give you a positive experience. Dentistry has changed so much over the years so it won’t be as bad as you think.”
Hi, I’m Ana one of Smilepod’s dentists. I’ve worked for Smilepod for five years although I did some cover dentistry for a different location ten years ago. I began my career working in Brazil then moved to London about 13 years ago.
I’ve been fascinated by dentistry since I was 10 years old and had an accident and broke my teeth. At the time I had to go back and forth to the dentists’ lots of time and they thought it was unlikely I would be able to keep my teeth. It sounds scary, but I was really interested in how things worked in dentistry and teeth. Due to the skill of the dentist, I was able to keep my teeth so my dentist inspired me to go down this path.
I am especially interested in educating clients on prevention. Prevention is so much better than cure. Most dental problems don’t cause symptoms. As a dentist, I can see these problems and stop them in their tracks. That’s why attending your check-ups is so important to the health of your teeth.
Our profession is extremely challenging and rewarding. The opportunity to relieve pain and suffering is a rare privilege and changing a person’s life by creating a beautiful, healthy smile is one of the intangible rewards of being a dentist that can’t be measured.
Hi, I’m Veronica. and I’m one of Smilepod’s dentists. Since I was young, I was drawn to care-taking and taking care of people. After more than 10 years of my dental career, I am really happy and I love my work. I can’t think of anything I would rather be doing than dentistry.

I provide all kinds of treatments, focusing on each patient oral health requirements, fears, anxieties as well as their expectations. I speak to my patients first so we can discuss together the most suitable treatment plan.
I have done postgraduate training in Prosthodontics, Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign to be able to advise and treat my patients with the best of my knowledge.
I have a lot of clients who are quite phobic of dentists in general if you are worried I will work very hard to put you at your ease. I am passionate about making dentistry efficient and convenient but also gentle and non-threatening.
Hi, my name is Glaucia and I am one of the many Brazilian dentists you will find at Smilepod. I am one of the first dentists ever to join the Smilepod team. My philosophy is to create a relaxing experience when you come to see me as your dentist. I have a lot of clients who are quite phobic of dentists in general. If you are worried, I will work very hard to put you at ease. I am passionate about making dentistry, efficient and convenient but also gentle and non-threatening. Cosmetic work including whitening, straightening and Botox are my favourite things to do.
The greatest thing about working at Smilepod is the very caring and well-trained team without the feeling of a traditional scary dental surgery. The ambience is very different from any other places I have worked, very enjoyable and helpful. This is the main reason I have worked for this company for so long and believe is also why my clients are always coming back.
“If you want to look after your teeth, drink more water as it is great for your teeth. Have a balanced diet and good oral health care.”
Hi, I’m Agni and I have been the manager here at Bank since 2015. I began my career at Smilepod working as a dental nurse. I joined the team 6 years ago working alongside Dr Raj, our specialist orthodontist. I’ve lived in London for ten years now despite only planning a short visit to the UK to improve my English!
I decided to go into dental nursing after becoming friends with a dentist who told me about the clinical side. It’s now been 8 years!
I like lots of things about working at Smilepod. Everyone is very friendly and passionate about their job. There are lots of different cultures and languages and it feels like a family. We really care about each other and our clients.
If I could give clients one piece of advice, it would try using a straw when drinking. It will help to limit the damage if you like sparkling and fizzy drinks. These drinks are both sugary and acidic so it is much better to drink through a straw to minimise contact with your teeth and damage. You could also eat some cheese to neutralize the effect and it goes well with wine.
If you want to look after your teeth drink more water as it is great for your teeth. Have a balanced diet and good oral health care.
