After qualifying as a dentist from a top dental school in Brazil in 2004, Dr Polidoro worked in a private practice and also undertook a year-long course in endodontics (root canal treatment). She then moved to London and registered with the General Dental Council in 2008.
At the age of eight, she suffered a traumatic dental injury and almost lost two of her top front teeth. She underwent extensive dental treatment and was one of the lucky 10% of people whose teeth can be saved following such an injury. This experience ignited Ana’s passion for dentistry and set her on the path to becoming a dentist.
Ana has an empathetic and honest approach to dentistry with a gentle ‘chairside’ manner. She is an enthusiastic oral health educator and has a special way with nervous clients, taking the time to gain their trust and watch their confidence blossom. One of her main aims is to ensure her clients fully understand their treatment plans and all available options.
