Biography

Marisa came to London from her native Australia with the ambition to work as a Dental Hygiene Therapist. Since qualifying, she has continued to progress on her skills and knowledge through attending conferences and courses. She is currently completing foundation training in an NHS practice as a Dental Therapist alongside working as a Hygienist where she is able to work to the full Scope of Practice.

Outside of dentistry she enjoys playing netball, trying different cuisines and planning travel adventures.

Came to do a 60 min teeth cleaning. The doctor was really great, friendly, polite, diligent and v accurate. My teeth are v clean and much whiter now. Definitely recommend 👌

I would really like to extend my thanks to the Smilepod team at Moorgate, where I have had two surgeries in the past year with Dr Karin Sisti to remove my wisdom teeth.Just for context, on my local NHS in Lincolnshire I was told it would be 12 months just for an initial scan in a hospital 30 miles away. Due to repeated problems with my wisdom teeth resulting in almost 10 rounds of antibiotics in less than a year I couldn't wait that long.Smilepod where I normally have my teeth cleaned came to the rescue. They were able to arrange all of the scans and appointments very quickly, while also offering a specialist opinion I could actually trust.I had a lot of nerves and anxiety during both surgeries, but Dr Sisti and her assistant were extremely kind and understanding.On the second surgery, they were also able to offer new laser technology which also really sped up my healing.Let's face it, nobody likes going to the dentist especially when it involves surgery. But when you can benefit from specialists who really know their craft, it is well worth the investment for your health.I now feel relieved everything is done and two weeks on already notice how much easier it is to eat and clean my teeth compared with before my surgeries.If you are a patient in a similar situation to me, you are absolutely in the best hands at Smilepod.

Had a consultation with Ana and it was an excellent experience. Ana is very friendly and professional! I required a filling which I then had done with her a few days later. Ana and her assistant were great! Not only that but the receptionist is very friendly and kind. Perfect experience all around!

Booked and attended a hygienist appointment and what can I say! You get more than what you paid for! After seeing all the good review for Rodrigo, I booked in an appointment with him. The cleaning was extremely detailed and thorough and the result is amazing! Rodrigo is very patient and cleaned my teeth very carefully, there were minimal discomfort compared to many other dentist/hygienist I have ever used. Highly recommend Rodrigo if you are going for a clean up!

Magatha did an amazing job...Seeing an hygienist for somebody who likes coffee, red wine and cigarettes always leads to the same result.. a few stains between the front teeth will not go away and you leave the dentist with the same feeling of a mission not accomplished...Magatha took her time and scrupulous attitude to make sure " no stain will be left unturned" and the result is simply amazing... thank you!!
