Veronica was born and grew up in Mar del Plata, a delightful coastal city in Argentina. At 17, she moved to California to study English and on her return to Argentina, she began studying dentistry.
While working at one of Buenos Aires’ most renowned private dental clinics she attended Maimonides University in Buenos Aires and in 2007 she qualified as a specialist Prosthodontist.
Continually seeking fresh insights into the world of dentistry, she soon added a Postgraduate Degree in placing and restoring dental implants and a Postgraduate Course in Medical Auditing to her growing list of qualifications. Her extensive knowledge then landed her a job at Buenos Aires prestigious Cosmetic Implantology Centre, where she worked for almost five years.
The next step in her dental adventures came in 2011 when she moved to London and after registering as a dentist she joined the Smilepod team.
She is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry because it allows her to enhance her clients’ lives with confidence boosting smiles. Her special interests include prosthodontics and placing and restoring dental implants.
Veronica is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) and was a member of the Third Oral Health Campaign (Neuquén, Argentina) (2005) and the Articulation Program on Teaching, Research and Extension (UNLP, Argentina) (2005-2008). She also achieved the Dr Joaquín B Gonsález Award of Distinction for Degree in Dentistry (La Plata Town Hall, Argentina) (2005).
During her spare time Veronica loves to cycle, sail and dance, but when not getting active, she likes to chill out to the smooth sounds of Bossa Nova music.
